CRM Smackdown | Technology

Darci LaRocqueDarci LaRocque

As a successful real estate professional, it's your job to handle hundreds of details. With a CRM, you can be more organized and less stressed. It's like having a personal virtual assistant!

Why Every Agent Needs a CRM
First off, a spreadsheet, a notebook, Outlook, or a Word document are NOT CRM's! You need proper software to manage your contacts and your precious relationships.

  1. First and foremost is you will make more $$$$$. Your ability to make more money is directly tied to your ability to follow up with people – past, current and future clients. If you aren't following up with them, some other agent is.
  2. Wouldn't it be great to be able to send a customized email to all your past buyers with a click of a button? This is what a CRM can do! Send the right message to the right clients; it can even do sequential sets of emails (drips) to the right clients.
  3. Can you remember all the little details all the time? No. A CRM can give you the ability to set up automated tasks for you to remember to do certain things for certain clients. Even if it is just a reminder to call them because you said you would in a week!
  4. Have you forgotten about those clients that you sold a home to five years ago? A CRM keeps YOU top of mind! Keeps you in front of them on a consistent basis instead of some other agent.
  5. You database is golden! I don't know why this isn't a common thing among agents, but don't you want to make some money when you slow down? If you have a database to sell or have someone take over, that beach will look a lot better. If you don't have a CRM, you have nothing.

There will be a live demo of RealtyJuggler, but you can be using any other software as they are all very similar. This session will provide ideas on how to get started USING your CRM!

  • Why every Agent needs a CRM.
  • What is the value of a CRM and what is a CRM.
  • How to keep in touch with your database with time-released (drip) sequences of printed letters and/or emails.
  • Get showing feedback on your listings using an automated online form – no more telephone tag with showing agents.
  • Sync with your contacts and calendar so no more double entries.
  • Link to Google Drive or Dropbox for quick access to client files.
  • How to categorize your contacts and why.
  • Link up with your FREE Mailchimp account to update any new contacts and send out your monthly newsletter.

Join Darci LaRocque to find out the best tips and real world examples to help you on the road to be a technology superstar!

How Expert Agents Use Google For Business | Sales/Marketing

Darci LaRocqueDarci LaRocque

Google's G-Suite is, by far, the best business solution on the market right now for your business. Not to mention the other features that it comes with, such as Google Drive storage and tools such as Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Join this jam-packed presentation and learn why

  • you MUST stop using your personal email for business. It isn't just impacting you professionally; it is possibly messing up your contacts, calendars and CRM.
  • Darci never recommends Office 365 Outlook email for agents. What is the difference between Microsoft and Google?
  • you don't need multiple email accounts.
  • your wireless device might be causing numerous contact and calendar issues.
  • Cloud Storage options will change the way you work and save you time. We will discuss the difference between Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive and iCloud, and why agents shouldn't be using all of them!
  • your email address is the only thing that needs to be set up properly so your CRM (Top Producer, RealtyJuggler, etc.) will automatically sync. Yes, you can update your phone contact, and it will update your CRM, if it is set up properly!

REALTOR® Self Protection & Strategies to Avoid Violence | General Interest

Rob AndressRob Andress

Have you ever experienced a fearful situation doing your job?

A recent survey we completed doing training sessions across Ontario shows 55% of Ontario Realtors have experienced a fearful situation…violence against Realtors is on the rise.

This highly specialized training has been developed for Realtors. It shows why Realtors are being targeted by criminals. And it's not only female Realtors who need to be concerned; 31% of all violent attacks occur against males, and males are at a 37% higher risk of being seriously injured or killed in a street attack.

This session covers all areas of the potential risk Realtors face in doing their jobs, from inside their own office to attending listings and offer presentations to open houses. We look at the risk you face in parking lots, elevators, and even in dealing with clients you know. We discuss how to park your car when you arrive at house showings and the importance of using Space Management as a shield for your protection inside and outside of properties.

This is a high reality discussion where you will find out just how unprepared you are to deal with a violent incident if it happens to you. Please don't think it will never happen to you. We've met Realtors who have been choked and thrown into walls, Realtors who have been targeted for attack, and yes, even one who experienced a level 3 sexual assault. We know of Realtors who have been kidnapped, robbed, beaten with baseball bats, pepper sprayed and even murdered. We will discuss the false sense of security you have in 911, the reality of why your phone will fail you in an emergency, and how Realtor Safety Apps do nothing but expose you to higher violence.

Attacks on Realtors are on the rise; don't wait until it happens to you. Learn the reality of what you face in a high violence attack and know that you are not capable of dealing with it without proper training and education. Violence doesn't care who you are, it doesn't care what you do for a living, or how busy you are. This highly specialized training is designed for one thing: for you to get home to your family.
